Is a JSA the same as a SWMS for Roofing?
No. A SWMS is required for high-risk construction work under the WHS Regulations, and this task can fall into those categories depending on how and where it is carried out. A JSA is a risk-assessment tool that breaks the task into steps. Where the work is high-risk construction work you will need a SWMS, and many crews run both.
