Flooring SWMS Pack

Awareness-level controls for workers who may encounter asbestos-containing materials (ACM) - identifying likely ACM, using the asbestos register, and responding to suspected or disturbed material. This SWMS does not authorise removal.

Construction of raised timber floor systems - bearers, joists, flooring sheets and subfloor work.

Installation of solid timber and engineered floors - subfloor prep, laying, nailing/gluing and finishing interface.

Sanding and finishing of timber floors - drum/orbital sanding, edging, and application of solvent or water-based coatings.

Installation of vinyl sheet, vinyl tile/plank and resilient flooring, including substrate preparation, adhesives, welding and coving.

Landscaping work in occupied homes - gardens, structures and maintenance with residents on site.
